Age of Sigmar
Containing everything you need to get started with exciting games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, this box is the perfect starting point. Two powerful forces – the heroic Stormcast Eternals and Khorne’s unstoppable Bloodbound – meet in savage combat to control the destiny of the mortal realms!
The Black Knights ride to war at the side of their Wight King.
They are the princes and nobles of his kingdom, each utterly dedicated to the commands of their lord as only the dead can be.
Lunatic murdersmiths who are feared and revered in equal measure, the Wrathmongers are absolute in their fervent devotion to Khorne. Infused with the unnatural energies of daemons, they are the elite of the Chaos tribes and are unstoppable in battle, hurling themselves at their foe with unnatural vigour as their wrath-flails describe brutal, bloody parabolas.
It is a time of madness and horror. The Mortal Realms writhe in the grip of the Chaos Gods, whose murderous champions fight furiously to extinguish the last lights of hope. But above, the heavens roar and the sky itself is rent by searing bolts – the Stormcast Eternals, glorious warriors of celestial light, have arrived to turn back the tide of Khorne’s murderous Bloodbound. The war has begun in earnest.
The sound of booming brass gongs and the appearance of huge clouds of thick, acrid smoke announces the entrance of the Clans Pestilens. The most vile and diseased of the Horned Rat’s progeny, they seek to rot the mortal realms in the name of the Great Corruptor. Everything that stands in their way will fall to rusted, infectious blades and utterly toxic contagion, and the lands left behind them will wither and die in their passing.
Charging into battle without hesitation, screaming war cries at a cowering foe while hefting enormous war-axes, the Fyreslayers are the descendants of the shattered warrior god Grimnir. They bear runes of shining ur-gold hammered into their flesh – ur-gold which, they believe, contains the very essence of Grimnir himself, giving the incredible strength for which they are notorious. Their fury in combat and unbreakable oaths are legend, and their axes are feared – berserk warriors born for war, the Fyreslayers burn with Grimnir’s fury!
While their Dracoths charge forward spitting sizzling bolts of lightning, the Tempestors unleash the fury of their volleystorm crossbows, loosing a hail of bolts that burn like blazing meteorites. Tempestors can concentrate their fire to fell the most powerful of foes, or blast holes in enemy lines for other Dracothian Guard to exploit.
